Description
Initial Feedback on the 750 Karve Freefly 2025:
This wing, paired with the Konnect aluminum fuselage (56cm) and the Karver S stabilizer, showcases remarkable versatility, precision, and performance across disciplines.
Wing Foiling:
- Tested in light winds (12–14kts) with an 85L KETOS LW board, requiring pumping for take-off but delivering a gradual and smooth glide.
- Once airborne, it impresses with sharp acceleration and the ability to maintain speed even in lulls. Pumping remains highly effective, transitions out of turns are fluid, and it glides easily through calm patches.
- The foil feels lively with precise and stable curves, making for a rewarding ride.
Higher Wind Wing Tests:
- With a 77L KARVE board in 20 knots, take-offs are instantaneous, and the ride maintains an excellent balance of speed and smoothness.
- The Karver S stabilizer provides steady control, while those seeking a more responsive experience might prefer the Stabilo 180.
Kite Foiling:
- Tried in a wind range of 6 to 20 knots, it offers a smooth start, more akin to the Kloud than the 880.
- Perfect for UPWIND/DOWNWIND cruising and extended explorations. It adapts beautifully to both 52cm ultra-short and 65cm long fuselages, allowing customization to suit various styles.
- In turns, it behaves similarly to the Kloud but stands out with its ease of pumping when exiting a turn, particularly if the kite loses power.
Notable Features of the Combo:
- The integrated fuselage design ensures a smoother and more stable performance, even when lifting one wing out of the water.
- This combination has widespread appeal, particularly for riders valuing agility, smooth transitions, and overall reliability.
The 750 Karve Freefly is a standout choice for multi-disciplinary foilers, balancing speed, precision, and adaptability across different conditions. Let me know if you’d like to explore complementary setups or refine your equipment further!
