Description
In pursuit of performance, durability, all-around glide, and lightness, we have opted for a high-quality aluminum central component, machined internally at our workshop, and an interchangeable carbon epoxy tail.
To cater to all behaviors and preferences, you have the choice between 3 sizes of Klever:
- S: Defined by a distance of 15 mm from the leading edge of the mast to the start of the Konnect, offering top maneuverability.
- M: Distance of 32.5 mm from the leading edge of the mast to the start of the Konnect, the standard size.
- L: Distance of 50 mm from the leading edge of the mast to the start of the Konnect, providing optimal stability, combined with the PT35, a speed rail.
You can pair any of these modules with a carbon tail, the Performance Tail, available in 3 lengths:
- PT25: Paired with the S, for maximum maneuverability, full freestyle.
- PT30: Paired with the M, for versatility.
- PT35: Paired with the L, stability-oriented for racing.
Technical Specifications:
- The most unfavorable section for all Klever models: 3.1 cm height x 2.9 cm width.
- Stabilizer span for the Performance Tail (PT): 16 mm width.
- M30: Length 58 cm, Weight 499 g.
- PT30 Tail: 99 g.
- Klever M: 400 g.
- 6082 aluminum, specifically corrosion-resistant, sourced and prepared in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.
- Black anodization performed in Annecy, standard Thalès.
- Sacrificial zinc anode machined in Chambéry.
- Machining on our CNC in our factory in Savoie, France.
- Pre-impregnated carbon tail pressed under 70T and heated to 120°C.
Wide Range of Stabilizers Coming Soon:
- The old stabilizers can become compatible with our Performance Tail, but we have refined the span for better performance. (Converting your old stabilizer to the PT version is irreversible).
- Already available: PK50, PK105, PW150. Coming soon: PK75, PK135, PWK185, WK225, WK265, XS3, WKSPMB. Some stabilizers will be available in a MonoBloc version to connect to the rear of the Klever fuselage.
Which Klever to Choose for Which Discipline:
Pumping:
- The M30, after a winter of testing, suits most body types and skill levels.
- The S35 is the favorite of Seb, the hour record holder in pump foil with 16.8 km in 1 hour.
- The S25 is loved by those who want to carve to the maximum and those looking for a responsive foil in their pumping.
- The L25 is quite technical but well-suited for DW pump practice that is gaining popularity on our lakes during windy and wavy days.
Kitefoil:
- The S25 for freestylers and those seeking optimum maneuverability, note that this setup is not intended for beginners (corresponds to our former Short Kite Carbon or 52).
- The S35 for beginners in kitefoil, long rides, or riders who want to maintain their bearings while switching to Klever (corresponds to our former Long Kite 71 or Konnect long).
- The M30 is suitable for clients looking for a balance between maneuverability and stability.
DownWind and DownWindPump:
- The L25 is highly favored by DW enthusiasts, DW paddle, and DW pump riders, whether at sea or on our lakes.
- It is recommended for use with our new DWP130 wing, the first wing on the market designed for DW pumping on lakes.
Wingfoil:
- The L25 is for advanced riders seeking a balanced and playful foil, it’s the favorite of Marc, who designed the Karve range, and Thibaut, my 16-year-old neighbor; it suits everyone.
- The L30 will allow you to gain a few knots by offering increased stability to achieve performance with the 550SP wing designed for speed in wingfoil.
- The M30 is a good compromise between stability, speed, and maneuverability, the choice to make when in doubt.
Wakefoil:
- The M30 offers a good compromise between stability, pump when leaving the wave takeoff.
- The S30 is more radical and suitable for experts.
