This KETOS LW for Light Wind has been shaped with a single obsession: fiery glide, immediate planning, and advanced take-off, all with one goal in mind—to get out of the water as quickly as possible. And the mission is accomplished, whether it’s Marius (70 kg) in 7 knots with the Karve 1450 or Clément (95 kg) in 10 knots with the KARVE 950, all have validated the instant take-off in light wind. But that’s not all, this light wind board can also accompany you in strong wind conditions! It can become your only board, and it has a compact size and lightweight for travel.

At the Defi Wing in 35 knots of Tramontane, it is not cumbersome, does not catch the wind, and glides well during touchdowns. At 21 wide, the K.LW is narrow, but its fully pad-covered concave deck is super comfortable and easy to remember your stance, and you can opt for the 22 if you are on the heavier side or if you want comfort.

Finally, let’s talk about the finish—its matte black and aggressive shark-like look is stunning, so much so that you might hesitate to put it in the water! At KETOS, we have nothing to hide—no re-masking or haphazard finishes, that’s why it’s delivered raw without paint, just with matte varnish. We call it CARBON MAT and we are proud of this finish.

New for 2025, many colors available: White (default color for 2025), Black, Light Blue, Yellow, Turquoise, Pink, Red, Dark Green, and Gray.

We recommend using this board with our range of KETOS KARVE foils made in Savoie Alps for its glide, but the rake is compatible without shimming with many brands.
